Petersfield Orchestra is alive and well despite COVID-19. After a long absence from the concert platform the orchestra’s strings performed Vivaldi’s ‘Four Seasons’ to a small invited audience in Liss this June 2021, with Shoshanah Sievers as soloist.

Next it was the turn of the wind players. Ten musicians took to the platform at The Studio at The Petersfield School last Sunday 3rd October under the skilled baton of Robin Browning, in a sparkling and tuneful programme designed to highlight the skills of the orchestra’s wind section.
Music by Gounod and Donizetti was featured alongside works by two 20th century composers, Jacques Ibert and Georges Enescu.

Next, Petersfield Orchestra will be performing together again in St Peter’s Church in Petersfield, at 7:30pm on Thursday 18th November.
