We are excited to announce our 2018/2019 season programme!
With Mark Biggins at the helm for his second season, we will be performing a varied programme, designed to appeal to audience and players alike.
We will start the season with a concert of English music on 15 November to commemorate the centenary of World War I. This will include Elgar’s poignant Cello Concerto with outstanding young soloist, Joy Lisney. 21 March sees us in our regular concert in the Petersfield Musical Festival playing an all-Russian programme. 13 June features our principal bassoonist, Richard Moore, as soloist, together with another Beethoven Symphony, No. 4, to round off the season in the same style as our last season – with a stunning performance of Beethoven’s ‘Eroica’.
